These terms apply to the detamon.io website and to the Detamon mobile game (together, the “Service”). By using the website or playing the game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service is operated and published by Qode LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17259547, with its registered office at Liberty House, 30 Whitchurch Lane, Edgware, England, HA8 6LE. You can contact us at contact@detamon.io.

Acceptance of these terms

You accept these terms by browsing the website, installing the app, or using any part of the game. Where the game asks you to confirm acceptance (for example before using online features), continuing past that point also counts as acceptance.

Eligibility and age

Detamon's online features (accounts, usernames, friends, teams, and chat) are for players aged 13 or over. The app asks for a date of birth at first launch; players under 13 play in a fully offline mode — no account is created, no data is sent to our servers, and social features are unavailable. If you are under the age at which you can accept these terms yourself in your country, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.

Guest accounts and usernames

Detamon uses anonymous guest accounts: a random credential generated on your device identifies your account — there is no email or password. You are responsible for the device that holds the credential; if the credential is lost, the account may be unrecoverable. Usernames are visible to other players and must follow the Community Rules. We may reclaim, reset, or refuse any username, and we may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or the Community Rules.

Virtual items and Pixels

The game includes virtual currency (“Pixels”) and virtual items (eggs, equipment, cosmetics, passes, and similar). When you obtain them you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them inside the game — they are not your property, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and cannot be sold or transferred outside the game. Purchases of virtual items are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. Real-money purchases are not yet live in Detamon; if and when they launch, additional purchase information will be shown at the point of sale.

Acceptable use, chat, and player content

Anything you post or display through the Service — usernames, team names, and chat messages — must comply with the Community Rules, which form part of these terms. You must not cheat, exploit bugs, use automation, attack or overload our servers, or interfere with other players' use of the Service. Chat passes through automated filtering and reported content is reviewed by human moderators; we may delete content, mute accounts, force username resets, or ban accounts temporarily or permanently, at our discretion, to keep the Service safe.

Intellectual property

The game, the website, and everything in them — including the Detamon name, characters, artwork, code, music, and design — are owned by Qode LTD or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-commercial licence to use them as part of playing the game; you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from them except as the law allows. If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them without obligation to you.

Availability of the Service

We work to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Online features depend on servers that we may maintain, change, suspend, or shut down. We may add, change, or remove features (including online features and virtual items) at any time. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice in the app before permanently ending a significant online feature.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and we exclude all implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or loss of virtual items or progress arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can delete your account as described at detamon.io/delete-account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms or the Community Rules, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination your licence to virtual items and Pixels ends; nothing is owed for unused virtual items except where the law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example when we add features such as real-money purchases. We will update this page and its effective date, and we will announce material changes in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep any protection and rights granted by the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
