Community Rules
Effective date: 21 July 2026
Detamon's social features — usernames, friends, teams, and team chat — are shared spaces. These rules apply to everything you post or display there, including your username and team name. By using the social features you agree to follow them.
The rules
- No harassment or bullying. Do not target, threaten, insult, or pile onto other players. Repeated unwanted contact counts.
- No hate speech. No attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any similar characteristic.
- No sexual content. Detamon chat is not the place for sexual or sexually suggestive content of any kind.
- Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is strictly prohibited. Any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers children results in an immediate permanent ban and, where required, a report to the relevant authorities. There are no warnings for this.
- No spam. No flooding, repeated messages, scams, advertising, or link farming.
- No personal information. Do not post your own or anyone else's real name, address, phone number, email, photos, or social media handles. Keep chat about the game.
- No illegal content and no encouraging self-harm or violence.
- Usernames and team names must follow all of the above too. Offensive names get force-renamed or banned.
Tools you have
- Report: every chat message and every player profile can be reported from inside the app. Reports include recent context so moderators can see what actually happened.
- Block: blocking a player hides their messages from you and hides yours from them, everywhere in the game.
Enforcement
Chat passes through an automated filter, and reported content is reviewed by a human moderator. Depending on severity, moderation may delete messages, mute an account for a period of time, force a username reset, or ban an account temporarily or permanently. Serious violations skip straight to a ban. Moderation decisions are made at our discretion to keep the game safe.
