Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies and similar browser storage the detamon.io website uses. In short: the site sets only essential storage, and it uses our own anonymous, cookieless analytics to understand and improve the site. That analytics is first-party (it is our own measurement, not Google or any other third party), it sets no cookies at all, and it collects no personal data. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site ad tracking.
Essential storage
For the essentials the site uses your browser's local storage for exactly two things, both strictly necessary for the site to work:

In addition, our hosting provider (Vercel) may set cookies that are strictly necessary to serve and secure the site (for example, load balancing or security protection). These do not track you across sites.
Analytics (cookieless, first-party, no personal data)
To understand how the website is used — so we can make it better — we run our own analytics on our own server (the Detamon API at detamon.io). It is first-party: nothing is sent to Google or any other third party. It is cookieless — it sets no cookies at all — and it collects no personal data.
The only browser storage the analytics uses is one small item:

What we measure is deliberately limited:
- which pages are viewed, and the time spent on each page and on the site;
- clicks — which element you clicked and roughly where on the page — so we can build an anonymous heatmap of what people use;
- how far down each page visitors scroll;
- device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop) and your approximate country.
We do not store IP addresses: an IP is used only for a moment, in memory, to work out an approximate country and to rate-limit abuse, and is then discarded. The analytics never records anything you type or enter into forms. It runs on every visit (there is no separate opt-in), but it respects your browser's “Do Not Track” / Global Privacy Control signal — if you send that signal you are not measured at all — and it does not run if you decline the storage banner.
This data is used only by us, internally, to improve the website. It is never sold, never shared with or passed to third parties, and never used to train AI or any machine-learning models. Raw analytics data is kept for at most 180 days and is then deleted. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
How to clear the storage
You can remove everything this site has stored at any time from your browser settings — usually under Privacy → Clear browsing data (choose “Cookies and site data”), or via the site information icon next to the address bar, where you can clear data for detamon.io specifically. The site keeps working afterwards; the consent banner will simply appear again on your next visit.
